2021: A Year of Growth for Goldbelt Professional Services
Goldbelt Professional Services experienced a year of growth in 2021, expanding our operations within the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). We are working with our sister company, Goldbelt C6, to provide extensive Public Health support across a wide range of tasking to include Epidemiology, Health Science, Health Communication, Data Management and Analysis, Public Health advisory, deployment/travel, and senior-level administrative support to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
In June 2021, Goldbelt Professional Services was awarded a $20M contract with the CDC National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion’s (NCCDPHP) Division of Diabetes Translation (DDT). It is the lead Federal agency for the prevention and management of diabetes. The mission of DDT is to reduce the preventable burden of diabetes through public health leadership, partnership, research, programs, and policies that translate science into practice. Also in June 2021, we secured an $18M contract to support the CDC National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD), which plays a critical role in outbreak response, diagnostic epidemiology, vaccine development, and control of respiratory and vaccine-preventable disease nationally and globally including COVID-19.
In September 2021, Goldbelt Professional Services won a contract supporting CDC National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases (NCEZID), Division of High-Consequence Pathogens and Pathology (DHCPP). Also in September 2021, Goldbelt Professional Services was part of a team that secured work with CDC National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities (NCBDDD), Division of Birth Defects and Infant Disorders (DBDID).
